Builds AWL’s relationship with the Faculty of Law and students through bursaries, candid conversations, Clubs Day, and student-priced events.
The U of C Liaison Committee develops and maintains an active relationship between AWL and the Faculty of Law and students at the University of Calgary. AWL increases visibility among law students so they understand member benefits and are encouraged to join.
The committee supports events and initiatives that strengthen ties between AWL and the faculty, or that show students AWL’s commitment to advancing women in law.
Raising awareness early matters so graduates know there is a network of peers for support, especially in challenging first years of practice when retention of women remains a concern.
AWL is volunteer-led. Membership connects you to events, mentoring, student outreach, and committees, whether you want to attend, host, or help shape programming.
